I just wanted to give you a one month followup on my new Mercury. As you said, it keeps getting better. If I turn it on about a half hour before I listen, it sounds quite good from the get go, but after about an hour of play time it seems to sound even more refined. I am amazed at the realism to the bloom of instruments and their solid imaging. The soundstage is usually very realistic. My best compliment is how coherent and natural the music is even with comlex orchestration. The dynamics can blow you away! I must say my GamuT must be awfully good to allow all these atributes of the Mercury to come through. I will never know for sure, but I can't imagine the giants like the VTL 7.5 and BAT 51SE have any more abilities compared to the Mercury at three times the price! People have said you can't get dynamics, realistic bass and top end out of a SET design. You have completely debunked that notion!

After 18 months, I am enjoying the Mercury as much as ever. It reproduces music so naturally in a nonfatiging way with great clarity, imaging and life like dynamics. I just plain enjoy the music with no desire to tamper with my system or switch CDs. When I go to live concerts, I am constantly reminded what I hear with my home system is very similar. If large numbers of audiophiles knew how good your products are, you would have to ten fold your production!
